Restriction on Plastic Usage

(AFU-6)

ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ

Program Description
By reducing the usage of plastic materials, as by 2020, more than 127 countries around the world have joined in banning or restricting the use of single-use plastics. This policy has been developed in line with the national plans of those countries, international standards, and the Sustainable Development Goals 2030, which put themselves on a pioneering path to reduce the use of plastics and non-plastic alternatives that can be avoided by 2021. Iraq is considered one of the high consumers of single-use plastics.
